So, it is official. We found another apartment. This will be our fourth address in six months.
We are actually really excited, though. The location of this apartment is excellent, the apartment is clean, and the landlord is great.
Yes, the apartment is considerably smaller, and the rent is a little more, but the benefits far outweigh.
No more mice.
No more playing Russian Roulette for parking.
No more incessantly squeaking floors
No more getting mail only 2 or 3 times a week.
No more roach-buddies.
No more cumbersome trips to some scummy laundry mat.
No more hour+ commute for Cathleen.
No more messing with an oven that does not go past 250 degrees.
No more leaky bathroom sink.
No more being scared to walk around the apartment barefoot.
and most importantly:
No more shivering and bundling up around the house as the heat decides whether or not to show up.
Yeah...I think we made the right choice.

Now all we have to do is move within two weeks.
