Hi all!
Have you ever read a fic that makes you swallow hard, and your glasses mist because your eyes are heating up with tears, and you're swallowing hard to stop yourself from crying but it's essential that you let the pressure out from somewhere because it hurts so much you can't breathe right?
Right, I'm looking for Johnlock fics that provoke that kind of reaction; a sweet, hopeless sort of angst that only comes from a person genuinely believing they can never be with the one they love, or that they are not worthy of the ones they love. Do you know what I mean? I'm desperately craving this kind of heartbreaking emotional resignedness, to just wanting from a far. Essentially, unresolved ROMANTIC tension, more than anything else.
I will never say no to porn, though, so there's that. I prefer Johnlock, and a happy ending, though note that happy is relative. As long as it's happier than it started out...
