There's two things I should be doing - one of them is tidying my flat (and cleaning the bathroom) and the other is much more important, re-do spot 1 cue sheet. The annoying thing about being left in charge of the spots is that I need to ensure there is always an up-to-date cue sheet, and well... it hasn't been done since before December and things have changed quite a lot. Also realised during teaching last dep, that there is a really important sequence of cues that isn't even listed on the damn thing! ARGH! Stupid! STUPID! The person who originally wrote these, and made a terrible hash of trying to teach us the plot during the technical (he'd never taught anyone spots and he's only ever been a dep never a full time op) is coming to cover my holiday. Technically he knows the plot, but he has never operated and the last time he was here was the last preview (back in September), so he's coming in on the Monday (my hol is Tues - Tues) to operate under my supervision. Which is why we need a new cue sheet... well, not a new one, but one that's right. Blah. Would be rather watching 'Logan's Run', but I'm recording it for later :-D.
Anyway, I said say that I should be doing the sheet & tidying but after doing my weekly food shop I got distracted by my promise to
skylockee. Present under the cut ;-)
Oh, this is also inspired by the Round-Robin on the holmesslash list at the moment, my contribution can be read as a stand-alone and is under this cut:
The plot bunny sniffed the air cautiously before sticking one long ear out from under the table. It listening carefully, but could not hear a sound. Good. The plot bunny sighed with relief, sat back on it's hunches and stared miserably at the floor.
"Why is everyone trying to kill me?" The poor critter wondered aloud, "it's not my fault strange things happen when I sneeze!"
The plot bunny was feeling a bit braver now and decided to explore it's surroundings, pausing only to nibble on a newspaper and widdle in a nearby slipper. It was just beginning to get very interested in a strange dark mass near the fire place when it heard a noise. A snuffling sound. From behind. The bunny paused and carefully began to turn around, hardly daring to breathe but allowing a loud cloud of bunny gas to escape so effectively giving the game away.
The plot bunny blushed, "pardon."
"Is it clear?" A gruff voice said from underneath the sofa.
"What?"
"I said is it clear!"
"I...I think so." The bunny replied.
"Thank fuck for that." The plot hedgehog unrolled itself and stretched. "Oooh me back." It took out a silver cigarette case, lit one and breathed out a thick cloud of smoke. "Just the medicine, I was gasping!" It snorted. "You know what I wanted to be when I was nipper? A clown. I wanted to entertain the kiddies, but I had a spot of bother with the balloon animals and this job offered adventure, romance, a chance to see the world. Ha!" It offered the plot bunny a cigarette, the bunny shook it's head. "New are ya?" The bunny nodded again. "You'll soon get used to it."
"Why are they trying to kill me?"
The hedgehog shrugged and scratched itself in a unsightly manner. "This is always a tough gig. You'll get used to it." It stuck the stub of the cigarette behind it's ear and leaned forward, "here, you wouldn't fancy a quick shag would you? I spotted a nice looking top hat on the floor over there."
"Sorry, genderless."
"Me too. This job really sucks."
They sat together for awhile, the plot hedgehog smoking and the plot bunny occasionally emitting small clouds of gas. If the spark from the cigarette had met with the said bunny gas then events would have taken a decidedly different turn, but as it happens a creak from the floor boards outside the room sent them scurrying back into hiding and to await their fate.
Anyway, below are the images... Okay, this time I promise to do my work!
Oh, btw
spacefall the Blake's 7 podcast thingy is talked about in this months Equity magazine. It's not the most interest article, it's just talking about how the union managed to get them a good deal... But if you'd like a transcript I can send you one.

Feel free to take/make icons out of, but don't forget to credit. Sadly these vegetables will be going into a stew later on so will not be available for autographs.
Update: It's nearly 7:30pm, my dinner (chicken chasseur complete with Holmes & Watson vegetables) is cooking nicely and should be ready in about twenty minutes. *Sigh* Why did I have to cook something that takes a loooong time? My bathroom is nice and clean :-D. Oh and in happy news, the subtitles for my Russian Holmes download have finished downloading... only another 23hrs for the episode now!
