Jolly Holiday
Just had a nice two day with mum and brother. Whilst mum entertained herself at the ideal home exhibition, me and brother headed off to the O2 to see the 'Body Works' exhibition - which is highly recommended. Today we headed over to Greenwich and the Royal Observatory (had to be dragged away from the clocks); made mum stop off at the market as Thursday's are 'Antiques and Collectables' - they had some great stands, including a guy who had a box of Star Trek comics! Mum wouldn't let me browse, nor would she let me ask the camera guy if he had any wide angled lenses... oh well, got fed. Incidentally, they had an interesting looking stall with loads of antique military stuff so if anyone fancies coming to Greenwich market with me one Thurs, feel free to drop by.
Also, this week I splurged a bit on myself - got an ipod Touch on ebay to replace my nano (anyone want it? UK only, sorry) and I bought tickets to see 'Waiting for Godot' at the Royal Opera House (still feel naughty about that, £50 is a bit beyond what I'd normally pay to see a show but I'm in the stalls :)).
Had an idea for a Holmes story :)
