Had a lazy-ish afternoon today, spent part of it lying under a tree in the park (trying out my new prescription sunglasses!) then the sun went away so I decided to go back for lunch.
Got ticked off in Tesco's which spoilt my afternoon slightly. I had a pretty full basket and when I went to lift it onto the counter one of the people who worked there grabbed it off me (despite me saying "no, I can manage!") and put it there for me, then acted in a really patronising manner when I said "I didn't need help thank you, next time ask."... maybe I should be used to this since people seem to take it upon themselves to pass things down to me when I'm reaching, it doesn't kill to ask if I need help and I'd rather you didn't make the decision for me!!! *grumble*
Rest of the day was spent lounging on the bed reading.
Watched 'If...' this evening, absolutely brilliant! A film I heartily recommend!
1) Is the girl real?
2) Does the school battle really take place?
3) What did the Chaplin in the drawer thing mean?
4) The foetus in the jar... if the girl did exist was this a "she's pregnant" thing?
5) Michael Travis, psychopath in the making? (Thinking the pictures on his study wall and all his talk)
Tomorrow morning I plan to go for a wander, not sure where but I've circled a load of places in Time Out :-
Brunel Museum
Grant Museum of Zoology
Horniman Museum (-- might go here, Forest Hill is a lovely area and according to the weather forecast it's going to be a lovely day.)
Museum in the Docklands
