I've been doing awfully lot of work lately. There was one really warm week over here, like +25C the whole week and I had evening shift every day. Dammit. I guess this means I'm little more grown-up than before.-_-

*) Still I haven't been able to save any money for my ( Read more... )

Ok so I'll get scholarship from uni, student loan and KELA's allowance for 9 months that I stay there. JASSO I hope I get it but it's just a matter of fortune I guess. Then I've tried to get city's scholarship and I hope I can get it. Then I have this summerjob just before I leave to Japan and I hope I can save it as well as possible and that's like 1,500 or something. Plus money that I'm trying to save now that I'm not succeeding very well. So ( ... )

I don't know how it works at Kansai Gaidai, but it may be that even if you don't get the JASSO scholarship before coming to Japan, they'll give you a chance to apply for it later. I mean, only one person each year gets it, Anni was the one of us who got it for her whole exchange. Susanna, Juha and I all got the scholarship for three months (January-March) when our uni here chose us as applicants to get it for that time, and we did all get it then ( ... )

Yeah isn't JASSO the kind of scholarship you automatically apply when you come to Japan? So I don't have to fill any papers to apply, if I remember correctly. Sorry for bombing you with all these questions!:D

Yea I have to make sure about the insurance. Luckily there's still time left.:) I think I'll buy the ticket via Kilroy and when I buy Kilroy ticket, not the Standard one I can change the date easier. Thanks for the answers!<3<3

You automatically apply for JASSO even before you leave for Japan. Our uni in Finland puts forward the papers and if you get it, they'll tell you before you leave. That's why it was quite a surprise when we were offered a chance again here. (Although we had to answer several questions about our future plans and such in Japanese and we also need to write a short report before we leave.)

I'm pretty sure about the health insurance, because it's a national thing rather than related to your university. But, are you friends Maarit on Facebook or anything? She could probably tell you all you need to know, as she actually went to Kansai Gaidai. :)

And I don't mind answering questions! I'm just happy if I'm able to help you even a little bit. ♥
