Okay, I really don't feel guilty about taking time over the last week to just get better. At least, I'm trying not to.
My abdomen is behaving better than it has in weeks, and that's definitely a plus.
I was SO incredibly sick over the weekend - I really needed 2-3 days to just be sick, and another 2-3 to recover. Fine.
I now have a whole lot of stuff that I need to do. After last week's insane rush of tutoring, proctoring, grading, review sessions, etc., the lack of immediate deadlines and appointments every hour has thrown me a bit. But now that I'm feeling better, I need to get over it and get stuff done.
This is by no means a list of things that I can get done today, but a list of things that need to be back on my to-do list with some sense of urgency:
- finish draft of syllabus for Z101 (including writing assignments)
- begin lesson plans, especially for Week 1 (find recordings!!)
- figure out what the deal is with course reserves . . .
- figure out if I successfully managed to order textbooks
- fill out paperwork so that I can actually get paid this summer
- write Rocky Ridge press releases
- JM stuff . . . so much JM stuff . . .
- dissertation work would be nice. immediate goals:
- redo (redefine) list of reprints
- rewrite that section of proposal accordingly
- begin sketching first two chapters
Yes. I should go do stuff now.
