Today was the first *really* warm day of the year in my area, so it was just my luck to be working on what should have been my day off, and to make things worse, be tied to my desk for most of the day. I did have a fairly productive time of it, though ;)

Now, to have a shower, as I feel really icky...

Took the opportunity to do some admin at work today, not least booking time off to go to the three furry conventions I plan to attend (ConFuzzled, Eurofurence, Midwest FurFest) this year ( Read more... )

After three very productive days off, I'm back at work today on the day shift (which I'll also be working tomorrow, giving me Saturday night off for once) in order to cover a supervisor who's away on holiday, which means that I'll be acting supervisor for two days. My sleep pattern is becoming even more erratic. I decided to have a quick nap (perhaps an hour and a half at most) at about a quarter past three yesterday afternoon, but have only just got up. I'm working the day shift today (and tomorrow), so I really hope that I don't fall asleep some time in the early afternoon as a consequence of getting up now ( Read more... )

What a nice quiet night at work, so quiet in fact that we all left an hour early. Arf!

Going to work this evening from 1830-0230 in order to cover a vacant shift. I'm not feeling very well at the moment, as I'm still in the midst of a cold, so I'd rather stay at home, but the extra money I will earn will come in handy to spend on shiny things, bizarre international excursions and old Volvo estate cars, sometimes all at the same time
