Home-made curry does taste better the longer it is left :)

That was a nice curry; lots of flavour and just the right amount of hotness. What's more, I have enough left over for tomorrow's dinner, by which time it will be even better :)

As I really want to make a curry today*, I took the duff food processor back, got a refund, then went to another shop and bought a different (and slightly more expensive) food processor which actually works :)

Nothing gets between me and curry!

*Which is currently being prepared and will be ready this evening.

As I've got the evening free, I'm going to devote some of it to making (and eating) a curry, a chicken tikka masala with a Shepherdy twist. Hopefully I'll make enough to cover tomorrow evening's meal requirements, as I find that home-made curry tastes a lot better after spending some time 'maturing' in the fridge :)

Two day old reheated chicken curry (home-made) is truly the food of the dogs ^^

I have a chicken vindaloo for tea tonight, which was on special offer at my local Tesco this morrow. I've never had a vindaloo before (PAH! Call yourself an Englishman???) as although I like Indian dishes that are spicy, I don't like them volcanically/inedibly hot, which is how I perceive the dish to be. That Indian takeaway was spanking! I ordered a little too much, but the leftovers will make for a very nice breakfast :)

EDIT (2230): Just had the leftovers. Seemed a shame to leave them lying around ^^

Although they take longer to cook, ready meals cooked in a conventional oven are much nicer than those done in a microwave :)

Thai red curry is BORDERLINE GENIUS! :)
