The Friendship Contraction-- I loved this episode overall because it felt so classic, like when TBBT was amazing. There was not much direct S/P interactions but enough to make a few cute memorable moments. Sheldon is upset that amy wont drive him to the dentist and starts complaining about how their relationship has lost its magic... and Penny ( Read more... )

I hated Leonard's attitude on "The Friendship Contract" when he said to Penny not to feel sorry for him :S I think that sometimes he doesn't deserve to be friends with the guys. Weird is the day they don't treat them bad or they laugh at him... But I enjoyed that episode a lot. It was like back in the old show I had great expectations of the show coming back about what it was... Until the 5x16

For me, and as I tend to think too much lately, Jim Parsons saved this episode. The beginning of it was really cool, funny and geeky, but then, all was couples ¬¬ And about the apology, I still thinking that Amy should have apologized too, and I say "too" because Sheldon was not good at all with her. Okay, it's Sheldon, he did the right thing trying to stood up, but, there was this line then: "you're afraid that I could show you up" Again, it's Sheldon, yes, but Amy doesn't know him, it is normal that she felt offended.

But I agree with you. That way to apologize it was not Sheldon at all. Amy obliged to him to apologize the way she wanted to hear snd without apologizing him back. Maybe it was Penny who softened him, because at the Cheesecake scene, he was bad but because the way Amy treated him. I bet he did not think that Amy was really upset with him, I bet Penny made him to see that.

PS: I loved the way he apologize, but not because it was Sheldon, but because I founded sweet to hear Jim saying that. I've melted (I wanted to jump the screen and say, Frack you Amy, don't listen to her my baby boy" or something like that. LOL
