Dec 21, 2010 22:35

Girls' Generation aka So Nyuh Shi Dae or SNSD, 少女時代/SJJD/Shoju Jidai is a nine-member South Korean girl group created by the money maker SM Entertainment. Do they ring a bell? Of course they do! You'd be living in a cave to not know about them!

SNSD holds the record for the longest running Music Bank k-chart win of nine consecutive weeks for their uber catchy song called "Gee". They've also won numerous prestigious awards in the span of three years that they've been active as singers. Their achievements consist awards from the Golden Disk Awards, Melon Music Awards, Seoul Music Awards and so on.

SNSD is known for having nine members who have successfully branded their own names in the industry. They were able to have each member be known for their own individuality and not for being a part of a girl group. Some had tried hosting, radio dj-ing, acting, modeling, and cast individually on different variety and reality shows.

To the newbie SONEs out there, why don't we get to know each of the members?
