Spazz Post No. 9: SoKa Dominates the Japanese Market! XD
According to AK KARA and SNSD gained revenues of $15.4M USD and $10.3M USD respectively in Japan! How cool is that?
I've always had this soft spot for SoShi+Kara aka SoKa ever since watching Hyoyeon and Nicole in Dream Team. Not to mention both groups' interactions in different music shows. It's like a living proof that even though they're rivaling groups in rivaling entertainment companies they are still friendly with each other.
Anyways, recalling Kara's rough debut back in 2007 it's such a good thing that they're finally getting the attention and the love that they obviously deserve. Their Lupin promotions was a huge success in the beginning of 2010 too, they'll surely be much anticipated for their upcoming projects!
We could at least say that 2009 and 2010 truly is SNSD's time. Adding up they're nine consecutive wins in MuBank for Gee last year, their record breaking GDA award for this year, and their oh so successful debut in Japan--- it's safe to say that SNSD is quite unstoppable.
I bet both groups would start the new decade with a bang. SoKa Hwaiting! <3
