I'm off to day jobbe soon. It's sunny but cold. I'd ride my bike but I'm going to a show at the Tractor Tavern tonight. I invited a boy but he did not reply so that's three strikes against him. Meh.
I bought a snorkel set. Mask, snorkel, fins and a nifty bag to carry them all. I have a swimsuit--also blue like my ukulele and my eyes. I've booked my flight to and from Fort Lauderdale, reserved a room for the night before the cruise and afterwards. February 18th is my birthday, a Saturday. I'll arrive in Fort Lauderdale early that morning on a red eye flight. The cruise sails at 5pm on Sunday, so I have the day to celebrate, relax, mingle. I know one person on the cruise--the lovely and talented Molly Lewis who demanded that I bring my uke (try and stop me!).
I look at that now, it's an awful picture of me--but yeah, that's kinda what I look like now. Anyway.
If you haven't heard Molly's songs who should check them out. She has CDs (or downloads, whatever) for sale over on band camp but you can find out more and listen to her delightful love song to Stephen Fry over at her
website.
So. Yeah, I've been working on that other problem. I'm down 4 .lbs. so yay. It took me two and a half years to put on the weight. I hope I can take it off faster than that. I want to. I want to be me again and at least losing the weight is something I can do.
