Said Update - a month later haha
Ok so, lets see. I'm 2 weeks out from finishing my Diploma at Tafe, yay! Will be sad cos I like the people there. But time to start climbing my career ladder. I've had my eye on working with Emirates for the past few months and I asked my lecturer to get in touch with a contact she has in the Melbourne HR office. She she did. Turns out the guy is the brother of a guy I used to work with! Small world. So yeh, he's said there are jobs all the time and to get my resume in and put a note for whoever gets it to come see him. So am waiting for him to get back from Dubai to do that. Hope it works out. I really want to work with them, for a few reasons. 1) I'll get ridiculously good airfare discounts (like 90% off), 2) they're apparently good employers in the general sense, 3) they promote career development and 4) they do they're major training in Dubai :D
The other big news is that I'm probably moving to Melbourne. I've been thinking about it for awhile and then a guy I met in Russia last year asked me to move there with him (he's just moved back to Newcastle from UK and in a rut like me). He's a bit indecisive atm which is annoying, but he really wants to move there. At last resort, Shaun has said he'll move in with me as he wants to get out of his parents place. So that should be fun. Would rather live with the Russia guy, Gavin, than Shaun. Simply because I still have a soft spot for Shaun and don't really want to be in the position with him bringing girls home. I told him this and he said he's not looking for anything with anyone atm. So yeh, see what happens. I'm excited though. I also found out my best friend from when I was 4-6 has moved to Melbourne, she found me recently on Facebook and yeh, that was a big surprise hehe.
Hmm other news.... oh yeh I got nominated for WA TAFE Tourism Student of the Year, so that will look nice on my resume. Won't find out if I win it until end of year, but still. Scored an $80 Cocos voucher out of it hehe.
Umm... Ross (my brother) is back from Japan. We still do not work well living together. He shits me.
No guys on the horizon for once. Nearly thought I had a reason to stay in Perth... then I met him haha, aww he's lovely but I just didn't feel anything.
Been going to the gym, still getting into diet mode so nothing much on that front. Been going with a girl I went to high school with. Have been hanging around her a bit and it's been fun. Get to catch up with old high school friends and talk crap about the old days heh.
