A Plea
To all my good friends! We MUST go to BOA this year! The bands are nothing to write home about, (although there is still time for that to change), but we must go regardless!
It falls at the very end of my work placement (well, I'd have to end my work placement earlier than planned, as the 17th should have been my last day but I'll leave on the 15th instead) and I think a big pissup in a field with all my best mates is the finest way to celebrate the end of the bloody thing!
Secondly, we all complain that we don't get to see each other often enough - well this is like a ready-made meetup! None of us have space to put up everyone else, meaning we'd need hotels to do a big meetup randomly, whereas BOA is just £56 for the three days (plus travel and food and whatnot obviously) but by my recking, for a 3 day/night meetup, normal cost would be double that per person even if hotel rooms were shared.
Obviously some of you can't go and there's nothing I can do about that, but I'd really love to see you all again, all together, all having a laugh in a field in the sun (hopefully). What do you say?
