Easter Excitement
Firstly, ET more tearjerking than The Green Mile? I don't fucking think so!
Secondly, riot police, massive guns, police dogs, and the house opposite ours being raided at 5am? Extremely exciting! We were woken up by two men shouting, and a dog barking, but it wasn't until I heard "PUT YOUR HANDS UP AND GET ON THE GROUND! NOW!!" that I decided it was worth getting out of bed to have a look.
In the street there was a big white van, an armoured 4X4 and a big silver estate car, with about 15 police peoples in full riot gear with biiiiiig guns around. One guy lying on his front with about 8 guns pointed at his head, and various other gun-weilding people crouching behind the cars.
There were police running in and out of the house opposite ours, and they were shining torches into the windows (which seemed to surprise whoever lives in the loft bedroom of that house!)
Eventually they all just jumped back in their cars and vans and disappeared, and there's no mention of it on any local news places, so christ knows what that was about!
