I know it sounds petty and stupid but there aren't many things I'll miss about Montreal besides the restaurants and the strip clubs. I've had many beautiful girls plant their asses in my laps and grind down against me in hopes of getting me off. It's the benefit of being a hockey player... not just in Montreal but everywhere. And it's surprising

I wouldn't complain if you got a new letter... even if it meant losing the one I've got. We need some new leadership pretty badly.

Considering we don't HAVE our captain anymore, I think we are in need of a new leader...

Obviously, but I don't think that means there's a lack of viable candidates.

I don't think so either. I think we have our pick of guys that are great leaders and I think Souray is one of them. He has experience and probably is a top winner.

I think almost anyone on this team could step up and wear the C, or take an A and be good at it. We are at least lucky in that department

I agree, which is why I asked Pies why he apparently doesn't.

I think he just meant that a change would be good. Why not give him the C? It's a change. I don't think he meant that no one else could do it

Change WOULD be good. Gator was a good captain. But he's not here, so why not look to something completely different?

And, seriously... don't give ME the C! There are plenty capable here of wearing a letter. I just want to play.

Well, we lost Gator, and things are probably in desperate need of a change. I know you have an A too, but I think it's time to do a major shuffle, cause nothing seemed to work right last season, and I include myself in that comment.

Alright, your opinion I guess. I think we're still in pretty good shape in that department.

I think change is good, and we should look for that. It's not easy, but maybe it's for the best.

I don't disagree with any of that. What I disagree with is your statement that we're in need of leadership. They can give the C to anyone from Sheldon here to Hemmer to Greener and I'll feel pretty good about their choice.

And I didn't have an A, I just borrowed that from Ethan. Didn't even have it the whole time, I shared with Shawn.

And.... I borrowed mine, too. It's not really mine, just borrowed from Shawn for awhile, and Ethan, and who knows... we were a sick bunch the second half of the season... with concussions and knees and flus...
