It was pointed out under the last episode thread, before this one was started that this isn't their first kiss. Sure he initiated it but it was initiated to be a smartass/to mock not out of his desire.
I find it funny the Shamy fans think he'll know start being touchy feely and kissy kissy. Are they brand new to this show?
We know damn well Sheldon will be back to acting as if "Gollum" has cooties again.
It's cute how they get excited at the thought of Sheldon being completely destroyed and the show most likely jumping the shark.
As long as Amy's goal of sex is realized, then screw everything else.

Exactly. You just know the writing screams 'lazy as f***' when one partner in a ship suddenly sprouts 'new' feelings for their so after being together for three frigging years. Now THAT is another thing that doesn't make any damn sense especially with Sheldon acting all rude and sarcastic with her just five seconds before landing one on her.

Not just the moment before but, many moments all throughout the last few seasons. The only touching real moment they've ever had imo, was when he reached over and took her hand to watch Howard's space launch because he wasn't forced, nagged, or pushed by Amy or his "friends" into doing it. Then he went back to Sheldon for a couple of seasons again without touching her, yet still making rude comments etc.
The writers are horrible as we've discussed a million times in that they don't show a real relationship growth until they need to do their obligatory "Shamy" episode or VDay episode.
How about showing growth that allows Sheldon to still be a good version of himself and not nagged into touching or nagged into romance. OR how about growth be something other than touching and romance? LOL

I cannot for the life of me understand you people! After all the crap and fillers the writers have turned out over the years your still surprised by anything they do. I don't know what the ratings are like now but I think a few shows seem to be catching up to the BBT. I don't watch season 7 so it could be down ;)

Well, the thing was, there were some VERY good Shenny moments in Season 7. The Occupation Recalibration, which was the most recent episode that aired, was very Shenny-friendly. Other than 7.02, which aired right after the season premiere, it (I think it is 7.13?) was the highest-rated BBT episode EVER at over 20 million. The first three episodes of season 7 all were actually pretty Shenny-friendly. Perhaps the surprise is that there is a mixture of Shenny-friendly episodes and then other episodes that heavily favor the canons. It's not all one thing.

Yes there's some top shenny moments this season, much more than the scraps we were getting. :)

Yes you could be right, but like to remember when it really was the BBT and not what passes for it now.
Your finger seems to catch the caps lock key a lot.

This is hysterical! TPTB spout how much Sheldon is growing cause of Amy and that their scenes are so cute and heartfelt it makes everyone cry, they still can't hide from the real truth, Amy manipulates Sheldon to get her way. I mean it's even in the title of the episode. (The Locomotive MANIPULATION).

I'm not reading the taping report. I did read a couple of them some time ago and I came to the conclusion that is worse than watching the show because they are written by people that see everything through their distorted canon glasses. I know about the shamy kiss already but heard nothing of the lenny. I assume is the same old BS as ever, am I right?

Far as I can tell most of the Kenny plot had to do with them dog-sitting Raj' s dog and things not going quite right(very reminiscent of the H/B story where they take care of cinnamon, recycle much).

Definitely. All of the sub plots are completely dull and old material being recycled with the secondary characters/ships. If the Lenny aren't fighting then they're screwing around like they've always been since the beginning or on a boring stay-in date at hers or his place.

Pretty much saying outright that Penny has a drinking problem and mocking her for it is the epitome of hilarity. Keep it classy, writers.
