Prompts Post (Reminder and Clarification)
Hey, guys! We just wanted to remind you about this prompts post for the June-July remix challenge! We don't have NEARLY enough prompts, so we're going to extend the deadline from Sunday, the 29th, at 10AM PDT to Monday, May 30th, at 10PM PDT. Hopefully, this gives you PLENTY of time to get your prompts in.
Now, we realize there may be some confusion about this challenge, so we're going to make a few clarifications:
In your typical remix challenge, you either choose or are assigned a story to remix. A "remix" typically takes the plot of a fan fic and gives it a twist, or changes the point of view, or changes the setting. It may be something silly, it may be something serious. Well, WE'RE remixing the remix! YOU look at the list of eligible stories, YOU give the prompts, and YOU choose which prompts you're going to fill. And that's not all: you aren't limited to fic. You may look at a story and think "this scene would be great as art rather than fic, and maybe it would be even better in space", or you may think someone could tell the story in a cool with with a fanmix, or maybe even as a poem.
So go and give your prompts! Remember, if you have any questions, just leave them in the questions/comments thread in the prompts post.
