hey, so today was pretty good. I went to one lesson then Sam called me and was like "I'm bored of school" so we met at deák at 12 and looked in some stores but then ultimately decided upon going to Replay Cafe for lunch. EWWWWWWWW I ate pasta, I wasnt well afterwards. But Sammykins bought me a present (the book 'How to be a Brit') so it was okay (kind of) then I bought this cool underground eastern european fashion magazine called Beast which I am now in love with (sooo much better than Nylon 'lindsay lohan is not on the cover FYI'). I was then looking for books on Judaism but seeing that I'm in a majorly Jew hating country I failed to find anything. Now I'm home, put all of my stuff into the biggest box ever to send home and then had girls night in with Timi and my mom. We talked about pretty much everything while sipping on wine and smoking hookah. I really do love the relationship between parent and child in Hungary. Parents don't try to control every little factor in their sons or daughters live's. They're more aware of the fact that a young person needs to make their own mistakes and grow up for themselves than most American parents (Mine at least) I think hungarian young people are much more prepared for the real world than those of the US whose parents control everything and give them absolutely no freedom or independance. Sometimes I wonder what will happen to some of my aquaintances when they're thrown out of the nest.

yeahh okay enough with that.... but I'm coming home july 3rd.
I think this year has done me a lot of good, I feel as if I've grown up a lot.
but I still haven't the slightest idea in hell of who I am.

EDIT: and in the part about parents what I meant mostly is that most teenagers talk to their parents about EVERYTHING. For instance when I try to talk to my grandparents about what's going on in my life they either start lecturing me or act like it's understandable and bring it up in a bad light later. I guess what I'm saying is that there is more trust here.
