The heat is out in the building today. It is 55 degrees in my classroom. I'm teaching in coat and gloves (typing with gloves on is a pain in the ass!).

If the heat is out when it's this cold, CANCEL SCHOOL.

I am not looking forward to the winter.

Stupid kids and their germs. Not even a month into the school year and I'm already sitting home with a cough and a little fever. Nothing like that killer flu I had last year, but still!

At least the weather is crappy this weekend so it's not like I'm tempted to go anywhere.

A few months ago, I get a letter from my mortgage company informing me that they need to have proof of insurance, or they will buy it for me. So I call my insurance agency and have them fax it over.
