Stuff that I really don't need now
Well, our new pay schedules came out and guess who is not only not getting a raise but losing about $200 because we no longer have holiday pay. I've been told it's not personal, because the powers that be decided to lump the Office Clerk I and II positions together and make it one job.It sure feels personal. Like my hubby says" anything that effects you is personal. So I am stuck at the top of my old pay rate with no where to go. Since I am a part-timer (under 20 hours a week) I don't qualify to belong to the union and have no protection. I'll talk to my boss today, but I don't hold out much hope.
Maybe it's time to look for a new job, but not until after my surgery. I'll be like Scarlett O'Hara and think about it tomorrow!
