Weekend Wedding
Our niece is getting married on Saturday. The wedding and the reception will be at the Mystic Aquarium of all places!The ceremony will be outside at 7:00 p.m.with the reception inside to follow. She is a not a formal kind of person and neither is her husband-to-be Terry.
The rehearsal dinner the night before is a Margarita picnic and pool party at her parents house, which is soon to be their house. Then there will be a brunch there on Sunday, before they go off to a Caribbean beach vacation.
It is so nice to get together with relatives for some other occasion besides funerals. The younger generation is starting their own families. Our nephew ( her brother) just announced that he and his wife are expecting in March 07. I expect from the way she talks that Jen (the bride-to-be) will be trying to have a baby also in the next year. They are both in their 30s so it's time.
Kathleen, Bob's sister, will be staying over on Saturday night. They are bringing their yellow lab, Rosie, so the cats will spend some time shut into our room with their food and their commode. Sounds like a fun weekend.
