By the way, I'm already on the halfway of the fifth volume of Durarara!! novel, thanks to anni_fiesta -sama's translation. So far it's exciting, as usual, although I'm still thinking the fourth volume is way more enjoyable. You guys maybe already know that I'm totally enamored by Shinra x Celty. This volume has just cemented my belief even more. As if it's just a normal thing that any human can desire, Shinra wants to have a happy family with his honey Celty.
I found my heart melt when I was reading that part. They even haven't aren't married, but their love is so strong, mature, and transcendental. So true and sincere. The fact that Celty keeps reminding herself not to get Shinra into great danger is really sweet too. She's fully aware her job as underground courier lately drags her to darkest sides of Ikebukuro, especially because Shiki's role gets even more prominent. I know that guy does fishy, dangerous stuffs. I only hope he doesn't try to separate my favorite couple by any means. Speaking of Kishitani family, where the hell are Shingen and Emilia? God, if Narita-sensei write a spin-off about those four I'd definitely go to fangirl heaven! XDD
In addition, now I'm determined to finish Working!!.
It's been so long since I watched a slice-of-life anime type like that. Well... I have to admit the main factor of my interest has to be the seiyuu section. Working!! has the voices of the lovely Raijin trio from Durarara!!, none other than JunJun-Kamiya-OnoD, with Jun plays as the main character, Takanashi Souta.
On top of that, it's ridiculous I can't help but clutching my stomach everytime I watch it, especially since Kamiya and OnoD respective characters, Souma Hiroomi and Satou Jun, are frequently engaged in hillarious fights! It feels like seeing Shizuo and Izaya in another universe; the former obviously enjoys teasing the hell out of the other, causing the latter to go on rampages. Switch vending machines with a frying pan and gartender bartender profession with a silent, peace-loving cook, there you get Satou. Souma, on the other hand, is not as mean as Izaya (and way less intimidating), but that doesn't mean you can let your guard down anytime soon. He smiles a lot, which sometimes reminds me of Shuusuke Fuji. *shakes head* Here comes the mastermind, it seems. XDD
Aside from the lovely trio, Shirafuji Kyouko also wins my heart. She's a real badass in her own way, kind of like Namie, if you want to compare. Strong!tough! female characters, I can't resist them! Durarara!! gives me Celty and Namie, and here in Working!! Kyouko sits calmy on the throne. However, unlike Namie who loses her position and ends up working under Izaya, Kyouko has the cheerful, kind, and devoted Todoroki Yachiyo by her side. ♥
