NO SMALL TALK!
Click to viewI have a spanking new smart phone and I'm already intimidated by it for several reasons but most especially an app that can tell you exactly where your "friends" are and if they are nearby. How near? I don't want to know but it's also kinda a good thing so if there's someone i don't want to see, I can just cross the street. If there is one thing I loathe, it's the stop and chat and small talk. There's no fulfilment out of making small talk with someone you barely know or dislike so why bother? Why do I have to stand in front of a stranger, struggling to remember their name from that one time we actually met 8 years ago while he/she served me in a restaurant. Yeah, not doing that. Beside, I'm not good with making small talks. I usually say shit like
"So, are you still with that guy?"
"No, he died"
"Oh, were you with him when he died?"
"umm. No"
"I'm sorry that you weren't with him. I'm sure he would like it if you were there"
"Um..Thank you. Do you have facebook?"
