Can I take a break from life, please?

As if the whole moving to a house really quickly thing wasn't enough, today I got a phone call from a job that I had applied for 3 weeks ago and pretty much written off when I hadn't heard anything from them. "But don't you already have a job?" you're probably saying. Yes, I do already have a job. A full time one that I am committed to. However, shortly after I started said job, I got an e-mail regarding an opening at a company called Parity computing, which specializes in "large scale software development projects in the rapidly growing area of unstructured knowledge discovery and knowledge management." (www.paritycomputing.com) They were looking for a paid intern type person, preferably a undergrad/graduate student with a background in programming, regular expressions, machine learning and linguistics. ::Drool:: The perfect position for me! I couldn't not apply...I also couldn't quit my job after just a month. So I wrote to Parity and explained my situation, saying that I was comitted to 40 hours a week with CSA, but was really really really interested in the stuff they did, and since I had some flexibility in my scheduling of hours at CSA, would they maybe be willing to accomodate my commitments so I could work both jobs? I didn't hear anything for 3 weeks, so I figured the answer was "no". Then they called me at work today, and now I'm going to interview with them tomorrow at 4. Ack. I would really love to work for them, but it'll basically mean comitting to working 50+ hours a week. Plus trig class at the community college. Plus moving for a few weeks. Plus having a social life. Ack. I'm excited, but terrified. I haven't mentioned any of this to the people at CSA, so it's possible that they will just say "no" if I try to move my hours around to accomodate this position. We'll see how the interview goes tomorrow.
Man, I'm glad I stayed home all day yesterday and played World of Warcraft. My brain needs a break from the real world.
