So I went and mutilated myself again

This tuesday I had absolutely nothing to do, which is usually wonderful except that Tuesdays are the days that "I can one-up all the bad shit in your life no matter what motherfucker" Cliff comes to clean our house. So I got up at 7 and was out of the house before he even showed up.

But I had nothing to do...

So I went the weird way on the bus to see where it took me and then wandered around downtown Toronto for a couple hours before finding one of my old coffee haunts. It was the perfect place to read the paper, drink organic lattes made with soy for cheap, do crosswords, reorganise my agenda, and write in my moleskin.

It is like a journal except that I write down anything in there, thoughts, creative blurbs, lists for the grocery, the phone number of my piercer...

Around 11, I set off again to try and find a Lulu Lemon to buy work out pants and instead ended up in New Tribe instead. The same skinny boy piercer was there and he was all "So you've gotten anything else here?"

"My nape and rook"

"Oh, cool, who did them?"

"Umm, you?" And then after finding out I kept it in for 3 months (which is apparently impressive) he asked to see it and was all "It hasn't travelled at all. That is so good."

I think I made him proud of his work.

Anyway, just some normal-ish ear piercings. I got a helix (finally after 8 years of wanting one) and a conch. It's this awsome barbell that goes from the shell in the bottom of my ear and then out and there is about a centimeter sticking out the bottom. I love it. When it heals, I'm getting an even longer one in there.

Anyway, just like last time our chat was easy and funny. It didn't hurt that much but I was more of a bleeder than usual.

I love them. Though I am a little sad that I'm now done with the piercings because there isn't much else I could do, not without it looking awkward. I still haven't told my parents about them yet but I figure that I won't bother until they notice, at least with my mom. She really hates them and I wish she didn't but she has accepted that it isn't her aesthetic or her body so she doesn't get any say.

My dad will think they are cool, he always does because he used to have long hair and longed to ride motorcycles. He will be happy as long as I don't date a guy like that really.

blah, things to say, will post later. Now, TRIVIA!
