So last night was the first night of Airwaves. We started out at Grand Rokk, a tiny venue, where we saw two Icelandic bands. I just spent about two hours typing up the whole entire schedule for Iceland Airwaves in excel, making seperate worksheets for each of the five days and highlighting all of the artists I know that I'd like to see.

Oh my gosh. Juliette & The Licks are my new heroes. Or, Juliette Lewis is. Their show totally rocked and I had so much fun I forgot to dance. Also, it looked like she was standing on the stage naked, because she was wearing a white outfit, and in the light they used it looked like flesh, and you could see her nipples. So that was amusing. Tonight, I saw lots and lots and lots of artists... it was excellent and I had so much fun I don't really care that I smell like an ashtray!

Mr. Silla was one of my two favorites of the night - pretty girl with an awesome voice, who sang lots of pretty songs, including some strange covers that I liked better than the original songs. Loved her.

I want to go to Iceland Airwaves. As in, buy a pass and go to a concert every single night. Not that much of the music is my kind of music - but I think it'd be soooooo much fun.

Smell like cigarette smoke and am getting a little bit sleepy, so think I should just go to bed. If I fall asleep at least I won't be able to smell myself.
