Random thought, and I'm too lazy to actually try it:
What happens if one friends oneself? Do you need to friend yourself back? And wouldn't that be weird, cause... then you could read your flist, and you'd be on there, and the "other" you also had you friended, and on his/her flist, there the "first" you would be... but then what happens if you didn't friend yourself back? Would only the "first" you have the "other" you on the flist, and the "other" you would NOT have you on THEIR flist? And if not, and you always would show up on your own flist, wouldn't that be sort of unfair, since you never friended yourself back?
