Summer. Wow. This has been quite a Summer. I haven't updated since i-don't-know-when (Cortnie, you're the best :D), but actually a lot has happened. The summer has been most interesting. I have regrets and guilts from this summer along with joys and happiness.
Anyways! The lambs are growing so fast! It makes me sad to see that it is almost fair time. They are so much fun to have around. Bon-Bon has learned how to open all manner of gates. Haha, he's almost impossible to keep in any pen. I've had to start chaining the doors. He hates that chain. He stands up on his back legs and leans against the gate with his front legs, jerking the chain with his teeth. He's so funny! I'll laugh so hard when he does figure out that chain. Once again my little darlings are disproving the urban myth that sheep are dumb.
Camping this Summer was really fun! The best camp this summer was when I went with Lisa and Cortnie in July. Haha! That was one of the best camping trips ever. We had this giant hailstorm once and it rained so much with thunder and lightning that weekend. I think I adore the power in those storms. So gorgeous. It was so amazingly fun. It just goes to prove that if with the right people, anything and everything is fun. The hailstorm, although it was rather painful when it hit us, was just a giant adventure. So fun. Camp was full of LOTR Risk, tag, hide-and-go-seek, rain, and I now have a collection of great memories. I'm so excited for Buena Vista in October. We need to get as big a group as possible.
I'm starting my senior year Monday!!!!! I can't believe I'm graduating Highschool this year. Just think, on Monday, I'll be having my last first day of a school year while being a homeschooler. Who know's what hiding around the corners of this year. But I'm thrilled and ready to find out. Just think, the next first day of a school year, I'll be starting college. Isn't that shocking and a little scary? Ahh, at least I have whole year to prepare.
