(no subject)
So something fun happened at work the other day. Poor Ashby got a nosebleed. This nosebleed was angry at the world and was not going to stop. Thankfully it happened before the show started, however, the children had already been seated and were waiting. We asked the school nurse for some gauze but all she had were these non-absorbent pads. ???
So, the show must go on right? I played three of Ashby's parts and Greta took most of his narration. I have to say, it was quite fun. It was funny to see us scrambling around backstage trying to figure out who needed to do what. Poor Nikki (the rabbit) she never leaves stage so she had no idea who or what was going to come out next. The bleed finally stopped and he was able to do the last few scenes and the second show.
The next day we went to Durham/Carrboro. We had a lot of free time and Ashby and I found this awesome little vintage store called Roulette. The clothes were actually cute and reasonably priced. I picked up a few shirts and a little summer dress.
I also found out my high school reunion will probably be in August! Which means I'll be able to go before I move to Chicago. Woo Hoo!
