Help. I need to be a better waitress
So I'm working at the Laff House which is a comedy club on South Street. It has made me some good money and to put it simply... I need this job. However, my sells aren't as good as the rest of the wait staff and they have yet to put me officially on the payroll. Now I'm being paid just fine, but without being on the payroll, they can cut me in a minute. And they just informed me that my sells were low last week. And I need to sell and be a seller, but I'm not good that or at least, I haven't learned how to do that. No one has taught me. It's not a skill that I just picked up. It reminds me of taking the learner's permit test. Everyone said it was easy and anyone can do it with thier eyes closed. Except me, who despite my G.P.A. at the time, failed the easy learners permit test twice. And apparently everyone has the skills to be a good sellsman except for me. And what sucks is I'm trying my best, but my best isn't good enough at the moment and I need to this job. I need to get better. I need help. And I'm not quite sure who to turn to and if I don't find help soon, I could be out of a job. And this job is awesome. It's just the sells part I'm not good at yet. HeLP!
