Alright, I gotta put this out there as more than just a rumor.
There's a company operating under some serious shady business toting themselves as professional.
I don't care if you want to start your own company in fact I encourage it. But if you want to play like a professional, you have to play by the rules. And those rules include giving credit to writers and original producers where credit's due.
Now, if you want to get the right's to a production awesome do it...do it with all of your heart and soul put into it. But if you have the right's, contractually you are required to clearly list the writer's and original producer's in all of your advertising and literature about your production.
Now, the only reason not to list those credits is if you don't have the right's. Which is completely illegal and liable to prosecution or liable to never allow you to get rights from that company.
So, basically what I'm saying is...if you wanna play you have to know the game. Some rules are meant to be broken, but others are there for a reason.
Don't play with the big boys unless you're ready.
