So fantastic...
Eventually, you almost pity the guitarist... I had to listen multiple times before I could fully hear what she was doing.
I watch this about once a week. It blows me away every time.

Wow. So I guess blizzard really meant blizzard.
As the wind picks up, it is blinding out there.
We went outside for > 15 minutes to check on a car that became trapped in the snow* and do some quick shoveling,
and when we came in, I looked sunburned and was wearing, essentially, a thick hat made of snow, frozen into the curls of my messy updo ( Read more... )

I've been in and out of doors all day, periodically, between work and various errands.
About half an hour ago, I stepped out my backdoor and was smacked in the nose with 10 pounds of pure snow smell.
It's one of my favourite scents, but wow, it's so strong just now, and seemed to show up all at once ( Read more... )

  As friends of my journal know, my 4th of July week included some unique "fireworks", lol...
as it turns out, so did the 4th itself...
not only was my town chock full of LARGE fireworks (Really over the top this year. How many people drove to NH?!?)
but afterwards, my mother, sister and I looked from a high vantage point
