We've just done our draw for the office sweepstake for the National. Who the hell names a racehorse Stan? I have a 100-1 nag, but at least his jockey has pretty silks: purple with pink stripes *g*
There's a fiver for the first faller, so should I be hoping that poor old Stan stumbles? He has about as much chance of placing as Chad does (and at least Chad has a better racing name - Isoceles Pink Dragon Chadwick III sounds a lot more like a champion thoroughbred than 'Stan')
