I picked up PotC:DMC at the weekend (I was naughty and bought a bunch of dvds because they were at six for £15) and watched a couple of the special features on disc 2 this morning, which was just Orlando and the lovely Jack talking about stunts and swordplay.
Jack started chuckling because, while he was discussing stunts, his double was visible in the background doing Norrington's stunts. His response? "I'm not made for this sort of thing. I'm made for talking and not bumping into the furniture." Oh Jack, you really are Steve. I wonder how he is at entertaining rants when he doesn't have Moffat writing them for him, though.
Hmmm... RTD has used quite a lot of actors he'd worked with before (including his two Doctors, of course). Once Moffat's in charge, I wonder if he could be persuaded to cast his tv alterego...
Also, I must say, after so many swordy movies, Orlando really does look like he knows what he's doing with a blade. The behind the scenes footage of him practicing fight choreography was quite impressive.
