yup...
spent the day with the parental units, who came down yesterday for the baby shower. things went fairly well, until somebody hit my dad's work car in a friendly's parking lot and left only a slip of paper with a name and number on it. a waitress rushed in to tell us she saw it, but the guy was already gone. so daddy's day ended rather badly. and now everybody is exhausted. my house is still a wreck from, well, life, and my father-in-law is supposed to be coming over tomorrow to help hubby paint the baby's room, which is not anywhere near to being ready to paint. so... life continues.
and mom told me today about a math teacher who was teaching his kids geometry by setting up a scenario where somebody was trying to assassinate the president, with the angles of the shooters and all that. seriously? wrong on so many, many different levels. and now that i've said that, all sorts of security people are going to be on my ass and reading everything i write and checking into everything i do online. if they don't already. but, hey. just wanted to share and ask if anybody knows WTF is going on with people. it's depressing to think my son will have to deal with idiots like this. uber depressing.
