Closing on the house has been postponed until June 8. Apparently too many people bought houses at the end of April and the mortgage people can't keep up. I've been assured that there are no problems, just a delay. Inconvenient, but okay.
I has a place to live!!! Finally found out today that I am a Certified Artist by the Boston Redevelopment Authority. This was the last step in the process to get approved to move into Midway Studios. Hooray!
Rommy is very excited. When I told him about it, he looked up from lying in the chair and twitched an ear. Excited is how I interepeted it. He's a master of subtle emotion.
So excited. I'm checking with my agent to see if there are any options that would allow me to leave early and not be there at closing. I wanna get moving on the new phase of life.
