Still no paperwork, but thanks to Rommy (the wonderdog), I'm much less stressed.
Took him out for a walk just now (as I always do in the evening and my neighbor down the block, Ben, sees me walking the dog and yells out "So, how'd it go?" How'd he know I had the offer?
I hardly know Ben, other than to know his name and to know that he likes to walk his dog with the dog wearing a set of weights and pulling him on a skateboard. He's got one of those dogs that have waaaay too much energy and need to burn it off. (Sound familiar?) The dog loves it and it tires the dog out, both good things.
Turns out, Ben set up the deal with Zeke. They're old friends and Zeke was looking at condos near Washington St and Ben convinced him that he should look in this neighborhood, and my house in particular.
According to Ben, Zeke's real excited about the house, which makes me feel better.
I think I owe Ben a referral fee or a bottle of something nice with a pair of cups.
I guess making friends with the neighbors and talking with any of them I see will pay off.
Go me with my chatty self.
