The other day, I made some chicken noodle soup from the carcasses of my roasted chickens. Chicken, portobello mushrooms, carrots, fresh spinach, caramelized onions, etc. Mmmm
While I was enjoying it, I was struck by just how beautiful it was. I had to snap some pics of it. Here they are:
The bowl is one that I made that I couldn't sell. It has a very minor glaze flaw in one spot, but boy is it beautiful. It may be just because I'm a potter, but I think the soup tasted WAY better from being in that bowl. Chef's say you eat with your eyes first. I think they're right.
