Fresh from the kiln

Here's a pic of one of my favorite pieces from the last firing. These vases are a lot more work than you'd think they should be and I haven't had too many survive all the way through the process, but I think they're worth the effort.

This glaze is an old one I used when I first started taking classes and fired in a gas kiln. I think the way I'm firing it now is even better. It's even better in person, there are subtleties that just don't translate on the computer.
