Chloe screamed!
She begged for the pain to stop. All the while the velvet voice told her he loved her.
“It will be okay. It will be over soon.”
Chloe focused.
This was all his fault. He was never touching her again.
Soon her screams stopped and another was heard.
Chloe was terrified. She stared at the plastic not wanting to believe. “It will be okay,” he said, “I love you.”
He placed their child in her arms. The pain was all but forgotten. Followed by a Christmas tree, this was the best Christmas ever.
