Cashel was tried of being ill; she knew she was on a transplant list. Her chances were slim; she had overheard mama-Kouichi telling Tsuyoshi once that if she was a vampire that she would be healthy. She knew that female vampires weren’t supposed to exist yet her best friend Melissa was a very healthy vampire.
She had a plan; she had a huge crush on one of Uncle Tackey’s favorite kouhais Yamapi. She knew that Yamapi was a powerful vampire…it would take a vampire like that to save her.
She was wearing a mini skirt and a tight shirt; she had snuck into Yamapi’s hotel room. Yamapi was on tour with NEWS and she was going to get what she wanted.
Yamapi had managed to get a room to himself and he was tired. He unlocked his door and immediately went to take a shower.
While he was showering; Cashel stripped down to her underwear and posed on the bed in a manner she hoped was sexy. She was only 14, she didn’t know much about sex but she was going to get what she wanted.
Yamapi walked back into his room wearing a robe and drying his hair. He blinked at the girl in his bed, he knew who she was. That was Cashel Domoto…he didn’t know much about her she barely visited the Jumisho.
Cashel licked her lips, “Aren’t you coming to bed…”
Yamapi rarely if ever passed up sex, but this was…
Cashel moved so the sheet pooled in her lap, “Come here...”
Yamapi sat beside her wondering why he didn’t call her parents. He didn’t even know how old she was…
Cashel kissed him; she knew he would be a good kisser.
Yamapi found himself kissing her back…
An hour later…
Yamapi was asleep…
Cashel snuck out of his bed and dress quickly. She felt weak as she dressed, she could feel her body changing. She called Melissa and told her to meet her.
Melissa snuck out of the storage room and half carried Cashel out to the bus. “You know this was really stupid and we are going to get in so much trouble.” Why she agreed with yet another of Cashel’s harebrained schemes she would never know.
Cashel grinned yawning, “You know that your existence made this possible. I’m not going to let anything control my destiny…”
A month later…
They hadn’t got caught…
Cashel knew she was better; she hadn’t gotten sick since before she spent the night with Yamapi and she could tell her condition was gone. Too bad she had a check up…so here she was sitting with Kouichi waiting for her doctor to tell her what she already knew.
The doctor sat there shaking his head.
Kouichi’s eyes filled with worry, “Is she worse…”
Cashel smirked.
The doctor stammered, “I don’t know how to explain it. I double-checked the computer. These are her x-rays and this is her EKG. He showed them the results, “Her heart is just fine…it’s normal. It’s as if she never had her heart condition.”
Kouichi turned and caught sight of her smirk, what had she done? He thanked the doctor and half-dragged Cashel to the car. He called Tsuyoshi and told him to meet them at the apartment.
Cashel was shocked, this wasn’t like Kouichi…
They rode in silence; Kouichi didn’t say a word until they were home and sitting at the kitchen table with Tsuyoshi, “What did you do…”
Tsuyoshi was confused…
Kouichi glared at his daughter, “why don’t you tell your father why you no longer have a heart condition.”
Tsuyoshi stared at her, she wasn’t sick? How was that…she couldn’t have…
Cashel was defiant, “I went and seduced Yamapi. He was a strong enough vampire to accomplish what I wanted.”
Kouichi was worried, “Have you had any craving for blood…”
“Not yet, I could feel my body changing and healing. Now that I am healthy I’m sure it won’t be long now.”
What were they going to do? Hiding Melissa’s vampirism was hard enough but now they had to hide their own daughter’s.
Jin had already caused the Jumisho grief by nearly killing Kame and Yabu; their kouhai couldn’t control his thirst for blood. Yuto, the vampire who had turned Melissa had also turned another Junior before he could control his hunger. Yamada Ryosuke hadn’t been officially a member of the Jumisho when it happened. Tackey had to do damage control; having a young vampire in an all human family was dangerous. Yamada became an orphan overnight. Tackey had been forced to make them believe their son had died in an accident and moved them far away. Yuto’s mother had been convinced by Tackey to raise the boy. The face of the Jumisho was changing…
