yea i feel like ive barely talked to you since youve been back from florida. buttt now i am back from mexico. and we have a dinner date at aladdins. and, you know, lots of awesome hangouts and catching up to do. and new years plans? got any? or any ideas? dont be so cynical carolyn. a lot of people care about you. and ill do my best to keep you from feeling too disconnected. and i appreciate you. i get where youre coming from about the doing things for other people and not getting anything back. if youre talking about someone whos usually fine at showing appreciation but just isnt showing it for you...well then, yea maybe its time for a change. but some people arent too good on the showing appreciation front. but you gotta remember they care about you, they just dont show it the same way. besides, doing things for other people honestly makes me happy, and it makes you happy. and it makes whoever youre doing it for happy. so really, its a win-win. just dont let yourself get down about things and remember not everyone shows appreciation the same way, but its still there.
