Something Right
I just looked back at my recent lj entries, and I realized the only time I post in here is when something is wrong.
Nothing has been wrong lately, and so I haven't posted much. I've been working a LOT lately, at a new job that I am enjoying. I started working at PF Changs a few weeks ago, and it has bee profitable and fun. The profitable side of means that I am finally being able to get a car. After five years of walking, taking public transit, and sharing a vehicle, I will get what I have earned. I am super excited, and I feel like I really deserve this.
We haven't actually signed the papers yet, but we have put down a deposit, and the car is being transported in tomorrow. Hopefully I will have the keys tomorrow, perhaps Wednesday at the latest.
I really hope that my increased freedom will mean that I can get back in touch with friends I haven't seen much lately. I will still have to work quite a bit to make my payments, but I won't have to make my social life revolve around Rick's work schedule. An exciting prospect.
