Yule schmule
My Christmas week has been most crazy. I got people saying I was cute out of nowhere, especially after I had my hair done, but I was still recovering from my heavy week-long period before that. It was rather anticlimactic as I spent most of it in bed, & I really felt like shit, especially after realizing I could've been sensing the tragedy that is typhoon Sendong. I was tweeting before that I was afraid I'd wake up in my own pool of blood, & voila. I've donated so much money now to the cause.
Thank God I didn't have to cook much for Christmas, but that only means I'll be cooking for New Year's Eve. I really want that day extra-special. I hope my brother tags along when I do last-minute shopping for supplies later. We got a really artsy calendar a few weeks before, so yay. I really haven't received anything yet from him as an official Yuletide gift. Hmph.
So far I got the coolest gifts EVER from clients. I got Kimmidoll keychains from an Aquarian (whose Venus is in Capricorn & Rising in Sagittarius), a metallic cuff bracelet from a Taurus (with Venus in Gemini), a daintily-wrapped bowl of assorted chocolate bars from my most-esteemed Capricorn + Libra Rising patron (& yay for that bowl, I can use it for displaying fruit on the dining table), then facial masks + mix CDs + a blue Marc Jacobs work bag from a Libra, ZOMG. I'm still waiting for more, haha. I feel so loved! I wonder what everybody else got for me!
I have only humble tokens to give my top patrons for this year, but I hope they like 'em. I might be giving away my favorite local organic products, astrology guidebooks, GCs for free Tarot readings, my favorite designer lavender tea, & maybe spa GCs.
