Something I forgot to post about
What day was it? Saturday I think. Yes, Saturday. I came home from work around 1pm and find my next door neighbour standing desperately at my gate with a bag of catfood. She's accidently let the cat out and he is now happily hiding under my house. I told her she is more than welcome to climb around my yard to get him out. Well the poor girl spent about half an hour trying to coax the cat out and came up to the door to tell me it just wasn't working. So I gave her.......the dog. Well Trinket was in her element. She dived under the house and drove kitty straight over the fence. She came back inside absolutely filthy and my neighbour offered to bathe her for me. She was due for a bath anyway and neighbour was looking unwell from the heat so I told her not to worry about it. We dragged neighbour in for an icy drink and she went home happy.
Sadly dog not so happy. That's right, the mean nasty mummy gave her a bath. Of course downside is now every time I take the dog outside in the front yard so wants to go and look for the cat. Upside, adorable next door neighbour has offered to puppysit. Yay.
