(no subject)
Stuff going on...
My mom bought a house!!! so excited that we'll actually be able to move right into a new house when we have to be out of this one! which is in 8 days!!! and we're moving to Three Pond, which is literally down the street from where we are now... My mom didn't find anything she liked in Marlton or Mt Laurel, and like she says, a house isn't something you just settle on... So the house we're moving in for is pretty much perfect, except for a little work that need to be done, like the cabinets in the kitchen are UGLY, so we're getting new ones, and there are some closets that need new doors, and we're getting a new stove... but the house was marked down in price b/c it had been a rental property, and the guy really wanted to sell it, it had been on the market for 70 days... and he's paying for all of our closing costs, so Mom is saving like, $7500... it's just a little amazing... and it's funny considering that's where Erin and I wanted to move when we ended up moving here...
in other news, I got a job... I'll be working at Pier 1 with one Justin Ross Becker... it kinda sucks b/c it's only part time, and they need people for nights, but hey, a job is a job... and i figure with that and the money I'll make for my show, and the money I'll make in tips waiting tables at the theater before the show, I'll make out ok for the summer... excpet this ewkk I'm working Monday, which is when the audition for Disney Cruise Lines is, so I can't go, and Friday until 4, so I'l have to leave right from there to go to the theater to train for serving, and then I have to be there at 9am on Saturday, which means I can't chill and drink at the theater until 2am again :-( ... I'm only worried about what will happen if I get into another show and have to be at rehearsal most nights... that's a little scary... I would prefer to work days, which I'll probly be able to do in the fall, but they really need night people right now...
SOM opened... I was nervous about it, and preview wasn't a great show for me, but Opening night went very well... everyone told me I did a good job (yay me!)... next weekend is crazy b/c Erica won't be there (tear), so her understudy is going on... and Drew is going on too, which is kinda fun b/c doing the scene with Drew is different than doing it with Kevin, and it makes it interesting. and lord knows it's good to keep things interesting considering I'm doing The Sound of Music for three months! but it's the weekend of my birthday that makes me very nervous... 4 people won't be in the show that weekend, so there's all kinds of understudies going on, but it's the scene changes that make me nervous! scray stuff man... but then there will be parying for my birthday!
speaking of my birthday, what will we be doing on Sunday July 3? The next day is the 4th of July, so I know most of you won't have to wake up early... i may have to request that day off... but we have to think of something fun to do!!!
I think that's it... I won't be around too much this week as I will be packing and rehearsing... but once we're settled in the house, maybe we'll have a party... maybe we'll have a party for my birthday!!! that' actually a good idea, I will ask my mom if that's ok... ok course, it's only 2 weeks after we move in, so we'll see...
