Our guy smiles at me when he opens his eyes each morning. It's the best thing ever. I'm afraid to wrap my arms around him while we sleep, though, thinking that might wake him up -- or make him want to nurse more than he already does. I need to google up a cosleeping forum to see how everyone else does it. I'm curious about that.
Tiger is saying Ma over and over lately. --except he makes the "M" sound for a long time first, sort of revving up, and then occasionally he manages an "ah" at the end. When he does, of course, we heap on the praise.
How fun that he has things he prefers and his own cute quirks and talents. I came across an article talking about what kind of school to send your kid to. It mainly compared Waldorf and Montessori. The conclusion was to know your kid and then pick the school that is right for the kind of kid you have. I suppose the same advice applies to other aspects of schooling, like when a young child is ready: know your kid and start them when it's right for them. You may still be anxious, but if it's right for your boy the anxiety will be replaced with all the gratification that comes along with the learning and growing he experiences in the new environment.
