I remember eating a cheeseburger in Houston with Meggie and declaring, "this is the best thing in the world." I wish I hadn't, because now when I say having a Keaton is the best thing in the world, it means a little less.
Here is my little boy in the laundry bin, happy to chill there while I gather up dirties to be washed. It's Ali's night for laundry according to our chore calendar, but he tends to take things on there as more of a suggestion than a real to-do. We've instituted penalties and I will collect a 15 minute massage tonight as his.
I remember telling Ali before a trip that the anticipation before a vacation was "the best feeling EVER" and I wish I hadn't, because it isn't. Waking up next to a smiling Keaton is the best feeling ever.
